Gamification, Branding, MarketingLotte Chilsung collaborated with Playmobil to create the immersive "Chil&Play Land" pop-up store, highlighting the brand’s youthful and innovative image. Located in Lotte World Mall, the pop-up transformed into a miniature Playmobil forest, offering an interactive brand experience through consumer participation.
At the center of the experience was an adventure game featuring Chilsung Cider bottles and Playmobil characters. Participants navigated a virtual forest by stepping on Chilsung Cider bottles as stepping stones to reach the finish line. The game provided a fully immersive brand universe, and a random prize draw rewarded players with figurines, mini bottles, postcards, and other exclusive merchandise.
The campaign’s goal was to maximize brand-consumer interaction by leveraging gamification to boost engagement and effectively convey the collaboration’s message.
Over 16 days, 14,540 visitors attended the pop-up store, with a game played every 35 seconds—a testament to the campaign's exceptional participation. The interactive game quickly became the highlight of the event, solidifying its overall success.
